Danny Russo
"One-Man-Superband" & DJ

Danny Russo is a life-long musician (started sax at eleven years old) and in his early 20's helped form the touring band for George McCrae (#1 hit Rock Your Baby) and toured the US and Europe, playing opposite such bands as The Jackson 5, Earth Wind & Fire, James Brown, and many others.  

 He later took a major career turn, and became a paramedic, working for NYC EMS.  The next logical step was to become a police officer, and is now a retired sergeant from that police department.  Of course, all that time he worked music gigs whenever he could fit it in his schedule. 

Now back full-swing in the music business, Danny plays gigs on the sax, and also adds keyboard and vocals, making for one very full-sounding solo act.

 Playing various gigs, from quiet cocktail parties, to the high-energy bar scene, to affairs for seniors, Danny covers just about any venue..... AND LOVES MAKING MUSIC (literally, his first love!)
